Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898–1972)


Two well known Escher prints and two not so much.

The man was a genius who did not care so much about how he was seen in the art community. His purpose was more about the enjoyment of experimentation, working with carefully chosen papers and inks.

    I love them all but feel most attracted to image number 2 of the mountain side and moody clouds.
