Particle Collision #2


Whimsical, both in colour and in style… almost carnival, but I like it, especially now that it is hanging beside my dining room table. I went with these pastel shades deliberately as a juxtaposition against the reality of the science being discovered at the Large Hadron Collider (CERN). There will be a #3, but this time I’m thinking of placing the spirals and loops into a historical perspective, perhaps superimposed onto what could be seen as an ancient carved stone, but I’ll need another tube of silver for that.

      Thank you. My manager (that’s my wife who is very fussy on what goes on our walls) likes it as well. Therefore, it’s a keeper. 😀

      We must listen to those who have more decorative wisdom than ourselves =) I’m still amazed this is all brushwork; this had to take some time and a steady hand, very impressive, look forward to the next
