Pastoral Sunset

There are times when a moment can take your breath away. This is a farm in Southwestern Ontario taken shortly after a raging thunderstorm which toppled trees. No doubt, this milk cow calmly laid down in the long grass as it passed and then resumed grazing.

“He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still water. He restores my soul.” yes, a shameless plug! What a breathtaking moment and stunning capture. Thank you for sharing!

More than a shameless plug… it’s true to an extent. If only we could lose our fear and, in the moment, accept the ups and downs that life throws at us, we’d be much happier.

That is, until the threat grows dangerous. Then we take cover. 😀

accepting the ups and downs….That’s how we find peace. We should cling to that even more when threats grow dangerous. We can never be sure of how much greater the next threat will be. Therefore, always be thankful in the moment – no matter the circumstances you may find yourself in.

Just goes to show that there’s a calm after the storm too. Beautiful capture.
