Barbarians?

Finally finished and titled with a nod to the painting ‘The Barbarians’ by Max Ernst because that is what it reminds me of. All acrylic paints applied on a 16 by 20 inch panel by use of a toothpick (which survived and will be attached to the back of the painting).

On to the next project, whatever that might be, but I believe I’m going back to a paint brush.

  4. I really admire the commitment and patience, not to mention the talent, to paint in this style. How long did it take you to complete?

I began the project on March 26. There are a number of posts detailing the project and, if you check the categories drop-down on my home page, you’ll find them all under ‘Process’.

  5. Thanks, I went back to your previous posts, it’s really great to see the progress.
