    I wish I could say I remember that day, but unfortunately I don’t… Too many days playing hockey in snowy blizzards, I guess! A tradition in stormy Kincardine…

    I remember that day very well, Fraser. Looking out the front door at my two sons deeply involved in the prime Canadian sport of both trying to score a goal and denying the satisfaction. How you played so hard decked out in those smothering snowsuits is beyond me, but you managed. If I was to pick just one painting (out of all I’d done or will ever do) to hang on the best wall in the house, it would be this one.

    Even before I read your description, it reminded me of my childhood in Saskatchewan…..miss hockey, but not the cold!
