This painting is all about entoptics… those strange colourful scenes which move behind closed eyelids in the darkness. Often, in my misspent youth, I would find similar light shows as a backdrop for live psychedelic rock shows. Think late 60′s and you get the idea. The application was done with brush and toothpick.
